Official Raffle Contest Rules

OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES: By participating, you agree that:

1.     The Plymouth Lions Club will Raffle off one 2007 Corvette Convertible  appraised value of $66,115.00.

2.      These Official Contest Rules may not be waived, modified, or supplemented except by the Plymouth Lions Club. No modification of these official contest rules shall be enforceable unless made by the Plymouth lions Club.

3.      The raffle drawing shall be held on the fourth of July 2008. All tickets must be received by the drawing date to be eligible for the drawing.

4.      The prize will be available to be seen during regular business hours at Tracy Chevrolet Samoset St. Plymouth Ma 02360.

5.      Plymouth Lion’s Club will sell a maximum of 1000 tickets at a cost of $100 per ticket in the event that 600 tickets are not sold by the drawing date in which event its liability is limited to refund of ticket prices to participants. 

6.      Each ticket will be entered separately in the drawing. Each ticket is a separate and equal chance to win the Corvette.

7.      Winner has 30 days to take delivery on the Corvette at Tracy Chevrolet Plymouth, MA, or forfeits all claims thereto.

8.      Due to postal regulations, raffle ticket stubs cannot be returned by mail for purchases over the Internet, through the mail or by telephone. When an order is placed, we will complete the ticket by filling in the name, address, and phone number, and we will drop the ticket in the barrel. At the drawing, the winner will be contacted based on the name and information on the ticket. To pick up the vehicle, two forms of identification, one of which must be a photo ID will be required to prove that this person is the person on the winning ticket. Purchasers do not need their ticket stubs for any reason. However, the stubs will be kept on file Plymouth Lions. Purchasers can call Lion Chip Anderson 508-746-8777 or email him a Raffle@theplymouthlions.org to check when the order was processed and obtain their ticket number if so desired. Tickets can be picked up at the Tracy Chevrolet during the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

9.      Winner notification will be made by telephone and mail.

10.   Successive alternate backup winners will be drawn and held by the Plymouth Lions Club judges, but not announced in case the first winner does not claim the Corvette in 30 days or is otherwise ineligible.

11.   Participant must be at least 18 years old. Winner may be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility at the discretion of the Plymouth Lions Club.

12.   Winner is solely responsible for all taxes, registration, title, transfer fees, license duties, insurance and all expenses in claiming, registering and using the Corvette. This may include sales taxes and property taxes. The Plymouth Lions Club has no liability with regard to taxes and fees for the vehicle.

13.   Vehicle will not be modified by the Plymouth Lions Club to meet specific local, state or country requirements.  Winner agrees to accept the vehicle as built for U.S. licensing and registration requirements.   Winner will be responsible for any modifications required for import to a country outside of the U.S.

14.   In the event the Corvette is lost, damaged, destroyed, or otherwise not available, Plymouth Lions Club’s liability shall be limited to refund of ticket price to participants. Plymouth Lions Club’s liability for any other claim is limited to refund of ticket prices.

15.   Winner agrees to the use of his/her name, address, photograph or videotape likeness and statements for publicity purposes by Plymouth Lions Club, and agrees to sign a publicity release without any further compensation.

16.   Plymouth Lions Club reserves the right to cancel this contest at any time, in which event its liability is limited to refund of ticket prices to participants. Model year and vehicle options advertised are based on availability.

17.   Ticket sales to Plymouth Lions Club officers, raffle committee members, judges and employees of Tracy Chevrolet and their immediate families are prohibited. Immediate family includes spouse, children and their spouses.

18.   Any person who engages in conduct designed to corrupt the outcome of a charitable gaming activity with the purpose to defraud, or knowing that he is facilitating a fraud, is guilty of a Class D felony.

19.   THIS CONTEST IS SUBJECT TO ALL APPLICABLE FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL LAWS, AND IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED, TAXED, OR OTHERWISE RESTRICTED.
